Announcing Soul Food Take-Out: Online Workshops

Oh peeps!  I am so very excited!!  This is something I've been thinking about for so long I don't even want to admit it, because you'll be thinking, "what the heck took you so long?!"  I agree.  But.  Better late than never.

So.  Without further ado, may I introduce you to...

...Soul Food - my series of online workshops.  You see?  Since selecting my mantra for the year, I've been working up ways to incorporate that into everything I do - as much as I can, anyway - cleaning toilets is not exactly nourishing in a soul.full way.  But I digress.

In working with the idea of feeding my soul, I thought you might like to join me on this journey.  And that's how the Soul Food Online Workshops came about.  Fun projects we can create together for ourselves, or to give as gifts to other lovely souls.

It seemed only right to kick it all off with one of my most popular workshops, Treasure Nests.

I call it nesting; that urge to surround myself with all of my little treasures and all the things that I love.

These sweet little nests are made from scraps of your favorite fabrics, bits of yarn, and then embellished with your wonderful tiny treasures.  After that, use them to store your crafty doo-dads, hold your jewelry, or sit on your coffee table with a stack of love notes and colorful postcards.  Treasure Nests are the perfect little happy place to showcase your bits and baubles and to stash your goodies.

"When I first saw the class description and photos of the darling Treasure Nests, I couldn't wait to sign up. The class did NOT disappoint! Tammy was such an awesome teacher and the Treasure Nests turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined.  Thank you, Tammy, for teaching your technique so well!" - Linda M., Portland, Oregon

It works like this:  Treasure Nests is a two-lesson workshop, which begins on March 15th.  Once you've registered, you'll receive an email with further information about the Treasure Nests workshop.  (Things like how to log in, our Treasure Nests Flickr site for sharing photos, and other fun stuff.)

Registration is officially open!  Just click the Treasure Nests "add to cart" button on the right sidebar, and you'll go directly to Paypal.  I look forward to meeting all of you creative souls.

Hi Anne! I'd love for you to add photos of your nest(s) to the Treasure Nests Flickr group. Let me know if you'd like to and I'll send you an invite as a "distinguished alumni". :). xoxox
